BUSA Short Course Championships

COSSS swimmers Debbie Hall, Andy Shepherd and Dwaine Bushell swam at the British Universities Short Course Championships on 17-19th November at Ponds Forge. They were representing Sheffield Hallam University.

There was an excellent swim by Debbie Hall in winning the 200m Breaststroke in 2.27.79 in a new Universities record time.  Debbie also came 2nd in the 100m Breaststroke in 1.09.09 and 2nd in the 400IM in 4.44.63 (also breaking the previous record).  All 3 times were good personal bests for Debbie.

Andy Shepherd swam very well coming 2nd in the 50m Backstroke in 26.62 and also 3rd in the 100m Backstroke in a great personal best of 55.58.

New swimmer Dwaine Bushell also competed well in the 50m Freestyle and Fly in times of 24.25 and 26.07.
