City of Sheffield Swim Squad All squads competed in the event with lots of Teaspoon winners and finalists.
A large group of our Junior swimmers travelled to Leeds on September 12th 2009 to take part in the White Rose League.

A tremendous 6 days of swimming saw a huge number of medals, finalists and several age group records from COSSS swimmers, and the club finished third overall in the points table!
Superb performances from all involved see COSSS finish second in the points table to Plymouth Leander with Matthew Johnson achieving the fantastic feat of winning 10 Gold Medals and setting 7 Age Group Records!

At the recent British Gas World Championship Trials in Glasgow Becky Turner became the fastest 200m Freestyle female swimmer of all time in Yorkshire. Fantastic!

The club is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Lappin to the position of Assistant Head Coach.
COSSS had four swimmers in the Yorkshire team; Rebecca Turner, Braxston Timm, Alice Cordwell and Tegan Turner-Clarke. In a very tight competition Yorkshire finished fourth in Division 1 with arch rivals Lancashire winning again.

Max Partridge competed for Great Britain in the FINA Swimming World Cup in Stockholm and Berlin.
This meet produced some excellent performances for an early season meet, coming as it does towards the end of a block of intensive training.
Debbie Hall and James Kirton competed at the European Short Course Championships in Trieste, representing Great Britain. Both swimmers competed in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke with Debbie also getting a swim in the Womens Medley Relay Team.
