Big PBs for James at European Short Course

James Kirton competed for Great Britain at the European Short Course Championships in Helsinki over the weekend of December 9th and 10th.  He performed really well, gaining 2 pbs in both the 100m and 200m Breaststroke.

In the 100, which is the least favourite of his breaststroke events, he managed to pull out a 1.01.65, which is a 2 second personal best from the time he did last year at the same championships in Trieste, Italy.

In his main event, the 200m Breaststroke, he achieved a 2.12.07, which is a 3 second improvement on last years performance.

Congratulations James, you have done tremendously well and should be very pleased with your swims.

Good luck for the World Championships in March from all at COSSS.
