Battling performances in the first round of the Arena League

Nonetheless, the teams performed brilliantly, with a number of swimmers clocking faster times than they did earlier in the day. Our swimmers have few opportunities to swim as a team and this made many step up their game ,with the A team just finishing behind City of Leeds and The B team fighting for places in every race. Our swimmers also carried their determined performances through to the following day at the Yorkshires too, despite the late finish at Ponds Forge on the Saturday evening.  Well done to all who competed.
The next round will be on the evening of Saturday 9th November at the John Charles Centre in Leeds. Transport details to be confirmed.
