We are proud to announce a new partnership with Decathlon Megastore in Sheffield. The good folks at Decathlon have agreed to sponsor our galas for the next 12 months, which will give us some much needed financial support, and also help create a swimmer support scheme. COSSS Olympian James Kirton works at the store and has been instrumental in forging the deal for the club along with Sponsorship Secretary Chris Hinch and Head Coach Russ Barber.
James said "I've been really impressed with Decathlon's interest in my swimming and the club in general, and I'm glad to have been able to help organise the sponsorship."
Kasia Toporowicz (Manager of Decathlon Sheffield) added "Decathlon has been looking for some time for a local grass roots club to work with and support, and I'm really happy to be working with City of Sheffield Swim Squad, and look forward to meeting the swimmers and watching them swim really fast this year."
