Many COSSS swimmers had targeted this meet for setting PBs before the summer break, and many stepped up in their performance in a fantastic (if very hot!) atmosphere . Swimmers competed in two year age bands, with medals awarded to the first three in each. This was a great finish to the year and the performances suggest there is great promise for next season – bring it on!
This meet was a great success which, in no small part, was due to all those who volunteered over the weekend. The club would like to thank all those gave their time on poolside and behind the scenes. We'd also like to thank all the visiting clubs who supported the meet. Our next meet is the Teaspoon Sprints on Sunday 20th September – we hope to see you there!
