They were part of a strong COSSS contingent from Senior Elite, AGN and Regional squads competing at the City of Manchester International Meet.Elliot set new junior figures for the 50 free (23.39), 100 free (51.09), 200 back (2.03.36) and 100 back (54.89), with the latter also breaking the national record. Nick broke the senior records in the 200 free (1.44.89) and 400 free (3.44.05). A fantastic performance by them both.
In addition to these stand-out achievements, many other swimmers raced hard to set new short course PBs in the middle of hard training. With the high level of competition from many of the UK top clubs and universities, it was a great opportunity to put race skills into practice in morning heats and evening finals before the national short course championships at the end of the year.
