Swimmers were competing to qualify for three levels of finals - Open, Target Tokyo (girls born 1997 or later, boys born 1996 or later) and Junior (girls born 1999 or later, boys born 1998 or later).
COSSS had broad-based successes in all three levels of finals. As well as Max Litchfield's success, Ellie Faulkner produced fantastic performances after a challenging season to win silver medals in the open 200 and 400 freestyle. Elliot Clogg (16) had an impressive week qualifying for the open 200 backstroke final and setting a series of personal bests on the way to competing in four different finals and breaking the Yorkshire record for the open 100 back.
In total, COSSS swimmers secured 27 finals places and 12 top 3 finishes. For full results click here and to see photographs and interviews with Max Litchfield click here
