The Zonal Meet at Ponds Forge 29-30 January was a new competition introduced to the swimming calendar for 2011. Many swimmers from both Age Group National and Senior Elite Squads competed at this high standard competition, resulting in some outstanding swims. Along with the many finals reached, a total of 7 Gold medals, 5 Silver medals and 7 Bronze medals went to COSSS swimmers.
• Gold Medallists were Becky Turner 200 free, Matthew Johnson 200 fly, 200 back, and 400 IM, David Gregory 200 back and 100 back and Eleanor Faulkner 400m free.
• Silver Medallists were Tom Sunter 400 free, David Gregory 400 IM, Lewis Coleman 200 breast and 200 IM and Lucy Spencer 400 IM.
• Bronze Medallists were Eleanor Faulkner 200 free, Laura Huggon 100 back, Lucy Spencer 200 IM, Aynsley Heseltine 800 free, Becky Turner 100 free and 50 free, and David Gregory 200 IM.
