There were many standout performances, with most of our swimmers posting faster times in finals than the heats and often out finishing their closest competitors.
A number of our swimmers won multiple individual medals. Charlie Brown (17) won three medals - gold in the 200 back and bronze in both the 100 and 50 back. Reuben Visda (15) had an excellent start to the week securing 3 silvers in 50 back, 200 fly and 100 fly. Sam Budd (20) took gold in 800 free and was just touched out by Nick Grainger (24) in the 400 free to take silver, and a further silver in the 1500 free. Cam Brooks-Clarke (19) smashed his PB to win the 100 fly and took silver in the 50 fly too. Amy Bell (18) had another strong week touching first in the 400 IM and taking two silvers in the 200 breast and 200 IM. Last, but not least, congratulations to Abi Miles for winning two bronzes in the 400 IM and 200 breast.
All in all, this was an outstanding performance. Many congratulations and all the coaches involved in preparing our swimmers.
