We launched a new website in early 2022.  Take a look here.

After another strong session in the morning, the finals started for Team Steel with the Women’s Transition 50 Butterfly. Kate Clifton took a speedy third place in 27.50, just one hundredth off her personal best. Next we had Reuben Visda in the Junior 200 Butterfly final coming in sixth. After a tough 400 Freestyle on the first day Jay Lelliott did brilliantly to back it up in the Open 200 Butterfly final, dipping under the 2min barrier in 1:59.92. Over on the backstroke events it was again a strong display from the Team Steel swimmers. Lily Boseley swam a fantastic new personal best in 1:01.49 taking fifth place in the Open 100m Backstroke, the 50 and 200 Backstroke later in the week should be exciting based on this performance. Elliot Clogg came seventh in the 100m Backstroke Open final in 55.60. In the Transition final Charlie Brown stole the show for Team Steel with an amazing 55.42 winning the final and more importantly getting the World Junior qualification time. Awesome job Charlie congratulations.

With the momentum building for Team Steel we are sure the other swimmers can carry this through the next 4 days in Glasgow.
