The weekend of 14th/15th January saw COSSS swimmers competing at the City of Derby Level 1 Open Meet held at Ponds Forge. This year there was a very large entry which resulted in the meet being oversubscribed - the organisers had to reject half of the entries they received. As a consequence the standard was extremely high, with many past and potential Olympians swimming and many national medallists competing in the younger age groups. To get into the top 10 or a final was a significant achievement, particularly as swimmers competed in two-year age bands.

Please note that the Tuesday evening Junior Development session between 6pm and 7pm is cancelled until further notice.  The 7.30pm session remains as normal.
