Ponds Forge, the home of COSSS
We are South Yorkshire’s premier competitive swimming club and train at the prestigious Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield, which accommodates both 25m and 50m training facilities. Within our squads we have International swimmers, National Age/Youth winners and finalists, and we compete at County, District and National levels, including various open meets through-out the year. We are a British Swimming select club and are regularly ranked in the top 10 clubs in Great Britain. Our aim is to place swimmers on the podium at all domestic and International level meets.

British Gas ASA National Championships Qualifiers
See the full list of COSSS swimmers who have qualified for the British Gas ASA National Age Group, Youth and ASA National Championships. Congratulations to all the swimmers who will compete in the Championships, taking place at Ponds Forge between July 22nd and August 3rd.
Fantastic results from the NER BAGCAT Championships!
Thanks to a tremendous swim in Eilat in Israel Ellie Faulkner has qualified to represent GB at the European Junior Open Water Championships.
A big thanks to all who took part in a sponsored swim that raised more than £1000 to purchase a new wheelchair for disabled swimmer Zoe Cain.
A great weekend of swimming was crowned by some excellent swimming including two British Age Group Records by Matthew Johnson.

Age Group National squad had a good weekend at the John Charles Pool in Leeds on May 9th.
A trip to Sunderland for the Senior Elite squad over the weekend of May 2nd/3rd.
J01, J02 and Junior Development squads competed at the City of Derby Meet during the weekend of April 25th and 26th.
Age Group National and JO1 swimmers performed extremely well over the weekend of April 24th to 26th at the City of Leicester Open Meet.

After her performances at the British Championships Ellie Faulkner has been selected to represent GB in the LEN Open Water Cup. Congratulations!

J01 and Age Group National Squads competed and came home with lots of medals.

A fantastic performance by all our swimmers ensured that COSSS retained the Yorkshire Bank Trophy by a big margin.
After several years absence COSSS returned to the BML on February 8th at Rossington and scored a resounding victory.

Sunday January 24th saw the Leeds B Grade meet take place at the John Charles Centre. Some excellent performance and PBs from our swimmers!
